Our audio team here at Playstation's Creative Services Group have been working with PlayStation VR for over three years now, with our sound and music teams working very closely throughout the development of both the hardware and software.
Working on London Studio's launch title 'Playsation VR Worlds' that bundels 5 experiences into one game, allowed us to really experiement and explore the possibilites of audio in Virtual Reality. We learnt a lot whilst working on this title and thought we should share it! So we've put together this short video to highlight some of the work we've done in bringing the PlayStation VR Worlds to life with immersive 3D audio. I hope you enjoy it!
