With a big exam around the corner, Ariadne Jones has no time for distractions: not the party raging downstairs or the political debate on TV, and definitely not that weird philosophical afterlife she gets pulled into every time she sleeps. Intelligible Games announces that Pro Philosopher 2, the sequel to the browser-based cult game Socrates Jones: Pro Philosopher, will come to Steam in 2024 tackling the most polarizing topic: politics! Engage in debates with brilliant thinkers from across history, and have them actually consider your points–like you always wish Uncle Franklin would do. ABOUT THE GAME
Every time Ariadne goes to sleep she gets pulled into a weird philosophical afterlife where she gets life advice from great thinkers from across history. There is just one topic Ariadne wants to avoid: politics. Politics are gross. But things take a sudden change when Ariadne's mother appears stuck in that very afterlife. To get her back to the real world, Ariadne only needs to answer a simple question, a small conundrum, an intellectual trifle -- what is the ideal form of government?

ABOUT INTELLIGIBLE GAMES
Intelligible Games is a nights-and-weekends studio based in Seattle. During the day we're all seasoned devs at various AAA studios making big action games (Destiny, Guild Wars 2, Etc.), so this is our outlet to make something a little out there. The core of the team met in college, releasing Socrates Jones: Pro Philosopher on Kongregate in 2013, and then working as part of Golden Glitch to release the IGF-nominated "Elsinore" before regrouping for Pro Philosopher 2. We're big fans of narrative games in general -- Ace Attorney, Zero Escape, Disco Elysium & Telltale (where one of us previously worked)-- and generally believe in the ability for games to explore difficult topics and make the world better.
