LOS ANGELES – July 6, 2022 – Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality mobile games, released the ‘Legendary Ancient Genie’ update for the massively multiplayer online role-playing anime game Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds. This game update features episode content, events, costumes, mounts and more.
In this first update for the 'Legendary Ancient Genie' episode, players will be able to encounter ‘Legendary Ancient Genie’ with 1 or 5 players in the special dungeon. While the players also can enjoy finding Dusk Syndicates, which are hidden throughout the world, they can celebrate the joy of the episode via Reputation Quest Play. Various rewards will be available including Episode EXP.
The Legendary Ancient Genie’s Costume and Magic Carpet Mount has been added as well. Through this update, players can experience an additional new kingdom dungeon map, 'Flaming Knight Ras.’ Further, new Field Bosses ‘Stella and 'Mecharagon’ are added to bolster the overall field experience.
To celebrate this game update, new in-game events are now available including:
'Legendary Ancient Genie' Episode Guide Event: Clear missions through various ways such as finding Dusk Syndicate that can be disguised as NPC, playing Episode Dungeon and more. Players will receive a variety of rewards including the Familiar Summon Coupon and Costume Summon Coupon. When all missions are completed, players can acquire a Traditional Desert Hat as well.
Toko Growth Event: Clearing the Toko growth mission and other Toko related missions are also required. Evolution Fruit, Jelly Bottle, 4★ Toko (Familiars) and other rewards will be available during this event.
Developed based on Level-5 and Studio Ghibli’s original fantasy RPG series ‘Ni no Kuni’, Ni no Kuni: Cross is available on mobile platforms and also playable on PC using cross-play.
