Midway has announced the cast of actors who will lend their voices to the upcoming Unreal Engine 3 powered action shooter Stranglehold, which is expected to ship this August for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The third-person shooter, which represents an important new original IP for the company, will be headlined by action movie star Chow Yun Fat, who along with director John Woo were significantly involved in Stranglehold's development. The game is set in both Chicago and Hong Kong, and sees Chow Yun Fat reprise his role as Inspector “Tequila” Yuen from 1992's cult action movie Hard Boiled. In addition, Stranglehold will also feature voice overs by Arnold Vosloo, best known for his work in The Mummy movies and Blood Diamond, as well as Randall Duk Kim from Memoirs of a Geisha, Enter the Matrix, and The Matrix Reloaded. The upcoming title will also feature a number of other actors lending their voices to the game, including Grant George, David Lodge, Lydia Look, Neil Kaplan, Stephanie Sheh, Michael Sorich, Russell Wong, Danny Bernardo, Jin Kim, Phuoc Nguyen, Andrew Lee, Joseph Yau, Philip Chan, Ronal A. Cheng and Alexander Brandon.
