Microsoft has announced that its next regular Xbox Live Arcade update will see the addition of its first sudoku title with Merscom's Buku Sudoku, along with an updated version of Atari's multiplayer arcade classic Warlords. First announced in January, Merscom says Buku Sudoku will use three key features of the XBLA platform to create "the best console Sudoku experience" from the HD graphics, which allow "for an easy to read grid with pencil marks," to the Xbox 360's controllers, which "make for a very fast entry method." Finally, the company says Xbox Live's multiplayer capabilities, "allow for multiplayer experiences never before witnessed in a Sudoku game," and that the game will offer "multiple puzzle sizes, difficulties, control schemes, and tutorials" for both veteran or new player appeal. Warlords has been developed by Stainless Games, the studio behind Xbox Live Arcade remake Crystal Quest and Atari's other revamped arcade titles like Centipede. Microsoft says the game will include both a pixel-perfect copy of the original, and an 'evolved' version with new 3D graphics, and camera support to "be your own Warlord" in both its local and Xbox Live multiplayer games. Both titles will be released May 28th, with Boku Sudoku priced at 800 Microsoft Points ($10) and Warlords at 400 Microsoft Points ($5).
