Today's news round-up includes news of Take-Two appointing Grover C. Brown, Esq. to its Board of Directors, the speaker line up for the second annual Advertising in Games Forum, and a collection of Silent Hill titles announced for the PlayStation 2, as well as the latest posts from GameSetWatch and Gamasutra job postings. - Take-Two Interactive Software today added former Delaware Supreme Court judge Grover C. Brown, Esq. to the company's Board of Directors. Paul Eibeler, Take-Two's President and Chief Executive Officer, stated, "We are very pleased to have Grover Brown join our Board. As former Chancellor of the Delaware Court of Chancery, he brings a wealth of legal knowledge and experience in corporate governance. We look forward to the contributions Grover will make to our board and Take-Two going forward." The addition of Mr. Brown to the Take-Two Board increases the number of directors to nine, consisting of eight independent directors and Take-Two's President and Chief Executive Officer Paul Eibeler. - Event organizer The Game Initiative has announced the speaker line up for the second annual Advertising in Games Forum, which will take place in New York City on April 12. The conference line up includes case studies and discussions from brands Wrigley and PowerBar, and will feature a keynote by Mitch Davis, chief executive officer of video game ad network Massive Incorporated. The event's speakers will include Shawn McMichael, Director of Advertising Sales at Microsoft Casual Games, Carolyn Suh, who worked on PowerBar's campaign in NBA 2K6, Julie Thomas, Director, Promotions & In-Game Marketing at Vivendi Universal Games, among others. - With Christophe Gans' film adaptation of Silent Hill set to arrive in theaters on April 11, Konami today announced that they will release a box set of featuring the three current generation PlayStation 2 games that inspired the movie. The Silent Hill Collection, which as of yet has only been announced for a European release, will be comprised of Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 3, and Silent Hill 4: The Room. "The Silent Hill Collection is a stunning compilation of arguably the most ground-breaking and renowned horror games for PlayStation 2", commented Martin Schneider, European Marketing and PR Director for Konami of Europe. "With interest in the film certain to be huge, we felt it was right to remind fans of the gaming beginnings of the mysterious Silent Hill and to introduce the games to a new audience ready to enter at their own risk."
