In addition to the previously-revealed American launch roster for the Xbox 360, Microsoft also announced the game that would debut on day one with the system's European launch on December 2nd. The full list of the 15 Xbox 360 launch games for Europe is as follows: Amped 3 (2K Sports) Call of Duty 2 (Activision) Condemned: Criminal Origins (Sega) FIFA Soccer 06 (EA) Gun (Activision) Kameo: Elements of Power (Microsoft) Madden NFL 06 (EA) NBA Live 06 (EA) Need for Speed: Most Wanted (EA) Perfect Dark Zero (Microsoft) Peter Jackson's King Kong (Ubisoft) Project Gotham Racing 3 (Microsoft) Quake 4 (Activision) Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06 (EA) Tony Hawk's American Wasteland (Activision) Missing from the European launch are 2K Sports' NBA 2K6 and NHL 2K6 -- though Amped 3 will be a launch title in both territories -- as well as Namco's Ridge Racer 6. The delay for the three games likely relates to converting the games from the native NTSC format to the European PAL TV standard. First-party non special edition games from Microsoft in the United Kingdom will retail for 44.99UKP ($78), while third-party titles will go for 49.99UKP ($87), according to British online retailer Game.net. Microsoft's official announcement of the launch line-up also mentioned forthcoming games without specifically dating them, commenting: "Great games such as Dead or Alive 4 (Tecmo/MGS), The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (Bethesda), and Ridge Racer 6 (Namco) will light up store shelves in the weeks after launch and beyond."
