Graffiti Developing New XBLA Title For 2008

Signature Devices subsidiary Graffiti Entertainment (Crazy Frog Racer) has announced that Microsoft has granted the company rights to develop a new title for Xbox Live Arcade, which the developer plans to publish through the online service in 2008. While no details regarding the game have been announced, the studio notes that it is focused on creating, developing, and publishing trend setting titles with mass-market appeal. Earlier this year Graffiti Entertainment revealed that it had also been granted rights to publish titles for both the Wii and Nintendo DS, noting at the time that the studio was evaluating an unspecified number of titles for release on both platforms, though to date no specific titles have been announced. While Graffiti Entertainment was first established in March 2006, its parent company Signature Devices was responsible for technology on multiple earlier releases, including the Xbox conversion of Samurai Shodown V and 3D engine work on the PC version of Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault. "We are thrilled to develop a title for Xbox Live Arcade -- the leading downloadable console games service," commented Kenneth Hurley, CEO of both Signature Devices and Graffiti Entertainment. "We are excited to 'jump in' on the Xbox 360 and introduce our title to the millions of gamers around the world playing on the console."
