This week's top rental charts from U.S. game rental company GameFly, representing the most requested games for the week ending December 14th, highlight both to-be-released and already released games in a unique demand-specific chart. The period of little rental chart movement among the top-five all-platform requests continues with an iron-clad top 4 for the fifth week in a row, with Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect refusing to yield the first and second spots, respectively. Though Call of Duty 4 and Kane and Lynch: Dead Men have swapped the third and fourth spots before, they stay in third and fourth for a second week. Only in the fifth spot is there a change-up, with the PlayStation 3 SKU of Unreal Tournament III taking the spot held by Uncharted: Drake's Fortune last week. Unreal also takes over for Uncharted on the PS3 charts, taking the crowning spot. Other than that, the titles by platform still show no significant movement; even the normally more malleable Wii charts stand firm. Interestingly, the fifth spot for both Wii and Xbox 360 sees the return of titles that previously vacated the ranks of their respective top fives, welcoming back Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and Half Life 2: The Orange Box. What follows is a breakdown of the top titles requested by GameFly subscribers across each of the major platforms: Xbox 360 1. Assassin's Creed (Ubisoft) 2. Mass Effect (Microsoft) 3. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (Activision) 4. Kane & Lynch: Dead Men (Eidos) 5. Half Life 2: The Orange Box (Electronic Arts) Nintendo Wii 1. Super Mario Galaxy (Nintendo) 2. Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law (Capcom) 2. Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity (Sega) 3. God of War 2 (Sony) 4. Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 (Atari) 5. Need For Speed: ProStreet (EA) Nintendo DS 1.
