Event organizer The Game Initiative has announced the 4th annual Mobile Game Conference, to take place July 13-14, 2006, at the Meydenbauer Center in Seattle, Washington. The Mobile Game Conference, which was established in 2003 and ran concurrently with the Austin Game Conference from 2003 to 2005, is aimed at providing developers, hardware providers and distributors insight into the current business and design considerations in the mobile gaming market. A list of speakers for the event will be announced in May, according to the official website. "Increasingly, talented developers and designers are turning to mobile as a testbed and a playground for their most interesting ideas," said Matthew Bellows, General Manager & Vice President of Marketing for Floodgate Entertainment, and co-Chair of this year's Mobile Game Conference Advisory Board. "While some of these experiments will fail, some of the ideas and products will set new directions for this dynamic industry." Registration information and conference details on this new iteration of the conference are available on the Mobile Game Conference website.
