The nominees for the Nordic Game Awards 2011 have been announced, with heavy hitters like
Just Cause 2 and
Alan Wake rubbing shoulders with indies that include
Jesus vs Dinosaurs and
Vikings on Trampolines.
The awards ceremony -- now in its fifth year -- will take place May 11 and will be hosted by former IGDA executive director Jason Della Rocca, who is "famously known for his Canadian yet Nordic sense of humor," according to the event's organizers.
The winners of the four main categories will be chosen by a special awards jury, while the Nordic Indie Sensation award will be chosen by audience participation live at the show.
