Today, Riot Games lead designer of social systems Jeffrey Lin announced his departure from the League of Legends developer via Twitter.

Lin, who holds a PhD in psychology, is well known online for his efforts to cut down on the toxicity of the League of Legends player-base through a variety of tactics.

"To players: keep giving feedback and working with Riot to make League last for another decade, so I can one day teach my future son how to play this crazy game," Lin wrote in his goodbye message.
