Newsbrief: Edge, PC Gamer and Official Xbox Magazine publisher Future Publishing said Thursday it has replaced 18-year Future veteran James Binns with Richard Keith as publisher of its entertainment portfolio, which includes video game magazines and websites.
Keith returns to Future after leaving in 2010 to launch The Games Tribe, an incubator for independent game sites. He's played a leading role in publications such as Official PlayStation Magazine, Official PlayStation 2 Magazine, OPM, PC Gamer, PSM3, Official Windows Magazine and Sony's First Play.
The change comes just a few months after Future
merged its UK and U.S. branches following fiscal year losses. Binns did not reveal his next career move.
