[Every week, IndieGames.com: The Weblog co-editor Tim W. will be summing up some of the top free-to-download and commercial indie games from the last seven days on his sister 'state of indie' weblog.] This week on 'Best Of Indie Games', we take a look at some of the top independent PC Flash/downloadable titles released over this last week. The delights in this edition include a puzzle game about controlling robots using a set of commands, a Flash game featuring a yellow goo, a Nintendo DS-style browser game, plus a point-and-click adventure game with gorgeous hand-drawn art. Here's the highlights from the last seven days: Game Pick: 'Pragmatica' (HiVE, freeware)
"Pragmatica has a lovely Spacechem-esque vibe to it, from the storyline to the interface, and is really great fun once it gets properly going. On each level, you are tasked with creating a series of commands that will lead your robots to their preferred destination." Game Pick: 'Crazy Over Goo' (Kristian Macanga and Banov, browser)
"Crazy Over Goo sees you flinging a ball of goo around a set of short levels, aiming to reach the flag on each one in as few shots as possible. There's also a level editor and customization options for dressing your goo up." Game Pick: 'ColorRoom' (Polygon Gmen, browser)
"ColorRoom is the latest release from the guys behind the Transmover series. Looking into a Nintendo DS, you can rotate the view to see around the room, and hunt down seven coloured stars." Game Pick: 'This is a Work of Fiction' (Eli Piilonen, browser)
"This is a Work of Fiction is a new puzzle game from the developer behind The Company of Myself and Spewer. Over a series of challenges, you're given the bare minimum instructions, and must figure out how to proceed on your own." Game Pick: 'The Tiny Bang Story' (Colibri Games, commercial indie)
"The Tiny Bang Story is a charming point-and-click puzzle game set on a world called Tiny Planet, which had been shattered into pieces when an asteroid blew up in its vicinity. Your task here is to help its inhabitants rebuild their home by collecting the puzzle pieces one at a time."
