Keeping everyone posted

Updating everyone on my progress.

So if you have been following I have been working on this game which I am still searching for a title for.  So far I got the levels being made, decided to go with XML instead of a database, makes it a lot easier on me.  Working on basic sprite AI then I think I am done with the guts of the game, just need to upgrade graphics and implement all the extra stuff that will make the game fun.  Been playing the game I got my inspirations from, surprised I was able to find it :P.

Few things to note about programming this game,  always keep pen and paper around the desk you are working at.  Makes it much easier to outline ideas and for problem solving.  I was having issues dealing with the different coordinates for each level till I start drawing them out and just marked coordinates that I needed.  Sticky notes have become my friend also, being able to jot down a game mechanic I like or dislike and stick it in plain view is fun :P.

I am hoping to be able to play the basic game by the end of this week, depends on how work/play eat into my programming time.
