Get a window into classic Mac dev with Glider source code

Want to take a peek into retro game dev, and learn how 1990s Mac games were made? Want to experiment? Developer John Calhoun has released the source code for four on GitHub.

Classic Mac game dev John Calhoun has released the source code for four of his games -- Glider, Glider Pro, Glypha III, and Pararena -- onto GitHub. Those with an interest in 1990s Macintosh game development and retro code preservation should be sure to check out Calhoun's GitHub repository.

Calhoun has actually updated and re-released Glider for modern Macs and iOS devices, if you're interested in seeing what it looks like these days, too.

His games were beloved by Mac users of the time; one glance at this Paranena review will convince you.
