The studio wants to use the cloud to create "easy access games."

Finnish studio Return Entertainment has raised €5.3 million ($6 million) in funding to create cloud-native games.

The company shared the news on Linkedin and said out will use the cash to bring "easy access games to everyone's device of choice."

The funding round was led by Bitkraft Ventures and Sisu Games, with participation from vgames, 1Up Ventures, and SMOK Ventures.

Writing on its website, Return said it wants its games to be "instant, sharable and truly inclusive," and believes multi-platform support is crucial to achieving that goal.
