Breda – April 22, 2022 – Winkeltje: The Little Shop has opened its doors to new shopkeepers with today’s full launch on Steam and consoles. After a very successful period in Steam Early Access, Dutch indie developers Sassybot are proud to introduce a new generation of mercantile players to the ageless art of buying low and selling high!

Winkeltje (pronounced as “Win-kel-tsjuh”) means little shop in Dutch, with the simulator letting players take on the fantasy of being their own shopkeeper in a relaxing, timeless environment. Winkeltje: The Little Shop is filled to the brim with tradable goods, from bulk resources to perishable vegetables, tools, clothes, and even alchemical elixirs. Plant crops, farm them, build your store, customize it with furniture and crafting stations, impress your customers, adjust your inventory according to the seasons and events, and grow your business emporium to new profitable heights! 
 
The full launch out of Steam Early Access on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Series X, PlayStation 4 and 5, GOG.com, and of course Steam, is the crowning success of the shop simulator. The release brings a ton of new content, including staff (hirable and fireable), new decorations, building options, achievements, character customization options, and more. Winkeltje: The Little Shop is available for $14.99 / €12,49 or regional equivalent.

About Sassybot
Sassybot is a small indie studio based in Breda, the Netherlands. Founded by Dutch friends Elwin and Tino, Sassybot has been developing quirky, interesting video games since 2012. The pair released the acclaimed narrative title Fragments of Him in 2016. They followed up with the Steam Early Acess launch of their fantasy store simulator Winkeltje: The Little Shop in 2019, with the full launch in April 2022 across all consoles and Steam.
