Lyon, France, November 10th 2021: Indie game developer and publisher Tin Can Studio is proud to announce December 22nd as the official date for adding VR support via a major update to Tin Can: Escape Pod Simulator, the studios popular survival simulation game exclusively available via Early Access on PC via STEAM™. Announced during the recent AG French Direct digital event showcasing the best of titles and talent in the French-speaking countries, Tin Can: Escape Pod Simulator is an impressive PC-VR title challenging you to survive in an old Medusa Class escape pod with nothing more than your skills, limited knowledge of technology and a detailed component manual at your disposal.

VR Announcement Trailer:

Tin Can: Escape Pod Simulator is a demanding game mixing the best of survival and simulation. It offers micromanagement of your vital systems, a realistic simulation of resources and a procedural generation of events and failures, making each gameplay session unique. Player reception has been impressive with more than 93% positive reviews on STEAM™ and more than 20,000 sales. For a debut title by a small indie-team, this is very positive news.

Tin Can: Escape Pod Simulator offers a true component-level simulated experience. You are lost in space in a fragile pod where only its thin hull separates you from space void. Your challenge is to discover ways to mend and repair your pod’s broken systems while staying alive and healthy until rescue can be called if they answer at all… How do you fix an oxygen generator that malfunctions? How do you deal with the atmospheric pressure and out of control temperature? And what do the blinking lights, alerts, sounds, and buzzers that keep going off mean? Passivity leads to death! Alone, trapped in space, with nothing more than your heavy breathing, rising panic, and oncoming terror, how do you prevail and overcome asteroid fields and nebulas!?!

The game features more than a dozen interconnected systems and each has its specific function and poses different problems to tackle. You need to figure out what is wrong and retrace failures back to their source. You are the onboard technician and doctor! You are solely responsible for every component and system on the pod. Dismantle, swap, and fix broken items and study the detailed onboard manuals for guidance.
Tin Can: Escape Pod Simulator is available via STEAM™
