LOS ANGELES – NOVEMBER 9, 2021 – Starting today, Netmarble kicks off the second collaboration between its cinematic adventure role-playing game (RPG) The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross and The King of Fighters ’98. The update welcomes new heroes and holy relics while bringing back fan-favorite fighters and content from the first collaboration between the two games.

 
Iconic characters [KOF '98] Terry Bogard and [KOF '98] Iori Yagami enter the world of The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross for the first time as part of the update, which also brings heroes [KOF '98] Mai Shiranui, [KOF '98] Athena Asamiya, [KOF '98] Omega Rugal and [KOF '98] Kyo Kusanagi back to the game. In addition, the update reintroduces the Ultimate Final Boss Omega Rugal stage and The King of Fighters Britannia stage, giving players the opportunity to acquire the [KOF '98] Iori Yagami costume and other rewards.

 
Additional features of the update include:
 
 

  • New Holy Relics - 6 holy relics for collaboration heroes are added for the first time, with the materials to craft them acquirable from the collaboration content and events.

  • 14-Day Attendance Event – The event includes 10 7DS x KOF '98 Encore Collab Pick Up Ticket And many more rewards.

  • Heartthrob Athena's Gift Event - Players can acquire new heroes' cosmetic items and an artifact card pack.

 
Players can also acquire [KOF '98] Mai Shiranui for free and additional 10 10 7DS x KOF '98 Encore Collab Pick Up Ticket when finishing all missions in the special events.

 
Moreover, various events to support players to grow faster are held in celebration of this update. Players can enhance their heroes with less hero enhance potion and acquire more rewards from salvage equipment through probability-up event. Also, players can enjoy the stage only a half of stage stamina, which supports the faster growth as well. Player Rank is now expanded to Level 90, and there are many more to enjoy.

 
The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross translates the storytelling and adventures of [The Seven Deadly Sins] into a highly engaging and entertaining mobile gaming experience, featuring stunning, high-resolution 3D graphics, with more than 150 characters, 200 costumes, and 200 dramatic cutscenes. The game is brought to life with the cast of the original Japanese voice actors reprising their characters. Since its launch in March 2020, the game surpassed 40 million cumulative downloads in a year across the world.
