MELBOURNE, Australia, 25 November, 2021 – Invergence Interactive will be releasing SF2K Class Dismissed on December 1st but players will be able to play the game from 26th November! The company will be giving players a chance to compete in “Season 0” ahead of the official launch on December 1st. SF2K Class Dismissed is available on the iOS App Store and Android Play Store and coming to Steam early 2022.

The game, which parodies schoolyard conflict, will be running a limited season called “Term 0” in which players can earn exclusive accessories for their character and have their name immortalised in the rankings board before the game even officially launches. Invergence Interactive says that this event rewards their most dedicated followers, who have been following the game’s development over the course of the past year.

Term 0 concludes with the game’s launch and the beginning of “Term 1” on December 1st. Invergence Interactive Director and developer Thomas says “We’re so excited that SF2K Class Dismissed is launching and players will be able to experience the heart-pounding social experience that we’ve been working for the past year for their phones and tablets.” Invergence Interactive’s second Director and developer Rohan says “Our most dedicated fans have been so supportive and a constant source of motivation for this game, so it feels right to reward them with an exclusive season and early access!”

About SF2K Class Dismissed

The game accommodates 3 to 6 players to battle it out in a fierce social war with the ultimate goal of being the most popular girl in the universe. They will vie to keep their own self-esteem points high each round whilst working together and backstabbing others to drop everyone else’s self-esteem to 0 through actions such as “SCRATCH”, “GRAB”, "COWER" and “TATTLE ON EVERYONE”. The gameplay and social aspects meld together as you form tenuous alliances or backstab allies; each round your success depends on the actions of every other player, so you will have to be careful who you are nice to. Navigating the social landscape is key to success on the playground as players struggle to get others to co-ordinate with them while paranoia sets in; only two players can win so can you really trust what the other players are saying they're gonna do? Reserve your spot on the playground by wishlisting on your favourite platform!
