Sail Forth is making waves on Switch, Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam in 2022!

SEATTLE, WA - November 16, 2021 - Festive Vector (formerly David Evans Games) and The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild are excited to announce that Sail Forth, their upcoming sailing adventure game, will be launching Summer 2022 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series X|S & Xbox One, and Steam. A brand new trailer showcasing some of the NPCs and story as well as the battle system and unique biomes is live now.

The open sea is calling... are you ready for an adventure that will unearth long-buried mysteries and change the world? Sail Forth takes you into a deep and beautiful planet full of mad scientists, menacing pirates, magical merpeople, and mystifying lighthouse keepers. Each distinct environment in the game introduces new allies to help you uncover more information about this strange blue planet, but in order to survive the dangers lurking on the high seas, you'll have to build up your fleet of ships and arm them with enough firepower to take down some big bad monsters. Giant crabs, ice golems, a kraken; these creatures may be hiding the secret to the biggest mystery unknown to the inhabitants of the Deepblue, if you're outfitted enough to face them.

While previously announced for release this year, Sail Forth has grown from a sailing simulation game to a full-blown oceanic adventure with tons of new content, quests, characters, and narrative over the past year. With the scope of the game growing beyond our original plan, we've had to push the release to next year to ensure Sail Forth is the epic adventure our players deserve.

About Festive Vector (David Evans):
David fell in love with game development at a very young age. All it took was his dad showing him a very simple program that drew colored circles to the screen, and how it could be manipulated by editing the code. The quick feedback loop of editing code--and then seeing it happen on screen was endlessly entertaining, and David made countless tiny games using various tools throughout his childhood and into early adulthood. After learning how to make games 'for real' at the game development school Digipen, David went to work outside the games industry at Microsoft, but continued to make games as a hobby. With a couple close friends, he released his first commercial title which went largely unnoticed. Undeterred, he began a new sailing prototype which would grow over the years to become Sail Forth.
