Monday, 4^th April 2022, 2pm BST - Cambridge, UK – After a year-long battle, the epic finale to RuneScape’s Elder God Wars saga launches today. This endgame moment will decide the fate of RuneScape’s world of Gielinor, making it a must-play update. Elder God Wars: Extinction brings to a close the wars of the Elder Gods and delivers challenging combat and high-level questing content.
 

Elder God Wars: Extinction is the first major RuneScape release in 2022 and is the closing chapter of the Elder God Wars storyline, which began more than a year ago and has since seen multiple battlefronts and cameos of beloved characters from across RuneScape’s epic 20-year history. This also marks the first Grandmaster Quest since 2016, which means that this content will be a challenge for even the most experienced adventurers.

 

Combat arenas play a large part in Elder God Wars: Extinction and can earn players rich and innovative rewards, including brand new skilling areas with access to high-tier resources for the expert fishers, hunters, crafters, fletchers, constructors, and botanists.
