ROCCAT, het PC-accessoiresmerk van de Turtle Beach Corporation, onthult vandaag de nieuwe Burst Pro Air: de nieuwste draadloze toevoeging aan de Burst-serie draadloze lichtgewicht PC gaming muizen. Net als de Burst Pro is de Burst Pro Air ontwikkeld voor PC gamers die de voorkeur geven aan een ergonomische, symmetrische muis met een lichtgewicht ontwerp en draadloze vrijheid. De draadloze Burst Pro Air weegt slechts 81 gram en heeft essentiële ROCCAT onderdelen zoals de Owl-Eye Optical 19K DPI sensor en bizar snelle Titan Optical Switches, terwijl Stellar Wireless technologie het draadloze signaal en de batterij beheert. De Burst Pro Air heeft een oplaadbare batterij met wel 100 uur batterijduur. PC Gamers kunnen al na 10 minuten opladen 5 uur achter elkaar spelen. De revolutionaire doorzichtige Bionic Shell keert ook terug op de Burst Pro Air, dit keer met meer LED lichtjes voor een meer consistente en fellere RGB ervaring. De Burst Pro Air is vanaf 26 april 2022 verkrijgbaar.

De Burst Pro Air heeft dezelfde ergonomische vorm ontwikkeld door ROCCAT voor de originele bedrade Burst Pro; een ontwerp gericht op prestaties en comfort in snelle first-person PC games zoals Fortnite, Apex Legends en Valorant. De ROCCAT Owl-Eye optische sensor (gebaseerd op de PAW3370 van PixArt) levert 19K DPI en 400 IPS trackingssnelheld voor ongeëvenaarde trackingsefficiëntie.  Daarnaast geven ROCCAT's belachelijk snelle Titan Optical Switches een responsieve klik met ongelooflijk snelle bediening voor ongeëvenaarde snelheid en precisie. De Titan Optical Switch is twee keer sneller dan een mechanische switch en ook twee keer zo duurzaam, met een activeringssnelheid van 0,2 ms voor maximaal 70 miljoen klikken.

Daarnaast is de Burst Pro Air  in tegenstelling tot andere muizen erg licht (81 gram) dankzij het unieke water- en stofafstotende Bionic Shell ontwerp. De Burst Pro Air bevat ook vier LED zones die een honingraad-achtige structuur belichten. Gamers kunnen de ROCCAT AIMO RGB Lighting Engine (met 16.8 miljoen verschillende kleuren) en synchroniseren met andere ondersteunende producten, waardoor de RGB-verlichting vloeit van het ene product naar de andere.

De draadloze verbinding en batterij van de Burst Pro Air worden beheerd door de Stellar Wireless technologie, waarmee signaalsterkte en batterijgebruik geoptimaliseerd worden voor de beste prestaties. PC Gamers hebben ook de keuze tussen een low latency 2.4GHz draadloze verbinding, of een multifunctionele Bluetooth 5.2 draadloze verbinding. De Burst Pro Air biedt tot wel 100 uur draadloze prestaties na één keer opladen. Daarnaast geeft snel opladen via USB-C spelers tot wel vijf uur speeltijd met slechts 10 minuten oplaadtijd.

Als het tijd is om de Burst Pro Air op te laden geeft de lichtgewicht PhantomFlex kabel een zo goed als ‘draadloos’ gevoel. De in warmte-behandelde pure PTFE-glijders van de Burst Pro Air zijn ook onnavolgbaar. Vanwege deze extra warmtebehandeling is de Burst Pro Air vooraf meteen ingesteld voor ongelooflijk glijden en soepele muisbewegingen.

Tot slot voegt de Burst Pro Air ook NVIDIA Reflex Analyser toe. NVIDIA G-SYNC displays met Reflex hebben ’s werelds eerste en enige systeemlatentie-analysator die klikken van gamingmuizen detecteert en de tijd meet die de resulterende pixels (flitsen van wapens) nodig hebben om op het scherm te veranderen. Wanneer je de Burst Pro Air gebruikt in combinatie met een NVIDIA G-Sync display met Reflex, kunnen gamers latency meten en verbeteren.
