DALLAS – 19th May 2022 – Mohawk Games and Hooded Horse are proud to announce that Heroes of the Aegean, the first DLC for the 4X strategy game Old World, is out now. The DLC will be given free to all players who purchase Old World on any platform in the first two weeks after release.

Heroes of the Aegean contains six historical scenarios which put players in control of Ancient Greece's most famous generals and leaders, from Leonidas to Alexander the Great. Players can put their own spins on famous historical scenarios such as the Battle of Marathon, the Wars of the Diadochi, and the Battle of Thermopylae.

The DLC also adds the Hittites, a brand-new civilization playable in the main campaign, represented by the warrior king Ḫattušili I.
 

Today also marks the release of Old World on Steam and GOG, following its period of Epic Store exclusivity. Furthermore, Old World now officially supports Linux. Localizations are being officially added in June for Spanish, French, German, Russian, Japanese, and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), with testing versions of each language accessible to players who opt into the testing branch on Steam.
