60 Sessions Will be Available on YouTube

Sessions Include:  Evolution of Blockchain and Virtual Worlds, KartRider: Drift, and   Machine Learnings from Nexon’s Embark Studios
 

TOKYO – May 16, 2022 – NEXON Co., Ltd. (Nexon) (3659.TO), a global leader in Virtual Worlds, today posted the conference schedule for the Nexon Developers Conference 2022 (NDC22), Korea’s largest game-industry knowledge-sharing conference. NDC is open to all and will be hosted online at the NDC website: https://ndc.nexon.com/. Sessions will be available on YouTube with multiple languages, including Japanese and English translations provided by the service.

The conference schedule was announced by Nexon Korea CEO Junghun Lee and features 60 sessions on nine categories, including game planning, programming, and Metaverse & NFT. 

At NDC 22, Nexon Korea Chief Operating Officer Dae-Hyun Kang will deliver a keynote on “The Blockchain-driven Evolution of Virtual Worlds” In the newly added “Metaverse & NFT” session at NDC22, Metaverse expert Professor Sang-Kyun Kim and blockchain expert Professor Seung-Joo Kim will discuss the changing gaming ecosystem.

 “The event will be held online for the second year in a row considering the pandemic situation, but we were able to prepare diverse contents with the active participation of many people,” said Kyoung-Hwan Lee, the head of NDC at Nexon. “This is an opportunity to learn about the latest technological trends and know-how, particularly how to work together to lead the gaming industry into the future.”

Celebrating its 15th anniversary, NDC started in 2007 and has become the largest knowledge sharing conference in the games industry in Korea. Various industry trends, post-mortems, and technology know-how are shared at NDC. In 2021, NDC was held online and captured 71,000 cumulative visitors.
