Kunos Simulazioni and 505 Games just released a new trailer for Assetto Corsa Competizione, the most recent instalment in the flagship racing simulation series launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on 24th February, 2022 with both digital and retail versions.

Watch Assetto Corsa’s impressive physics technology at work.

Each laser-scanned racetrack of the game is a realistic world, defined by a time of the day, weather conditions and wind.

The wind affects vehicles’ aero while the weather can evolve during a race influencing directly driving performances and environments’ feedback, making each competition unpredictable.

Put Motorsport knowledge to good use: if the clouds look heavy with rain, make a pit stop to change to more suitable tires.

Temperature affects track temperature (and thus grip), engine performance, altitude and environmental pressure.

For this reason,  driving during the day or at night make a totally different racing experience.

Learn to adapt and react to changing track conditions just like a real, professional GT3 or GT4 race driver.

Assetto Corsa Competizione is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

Current console owners of the game will have the chance to upgrade for free on PlayStation 5  and Xbox Series X|S at launch day, carrying over  to new gen all save data and owned DLC.

Expect more details about Assetto Corsa’s PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions in the coming weeks.
