Author: inkle

Here's an unusual holiday gift for fans of inkle's narrative games: Heaven's Vault, the open world sci-fi archeology game that won the Independent Game Festival's Excellence in Narrative award and was nominated for a BAFTA, is now a two-part novel series penned by the game's narrative designer, Jon Ingold.

This limited run novelization retells the game's narrative, delving more broadly into the mysteries of the Nebula and more deeply into the backstories of protagonist Aliya Elasra and her robot companion, Six. Each book is full-length (~300 pages) and sells for £12.99 (paperback) or £17.99 (hardcover), plus shipping.

About Heaven's Vault
Archeologist Aliya Elasra explores the Nebula with her robot sidekick, Six, studying artifacts and deciphering a lost hieroglyphic language with hopes of uncovering a long-forgotten past. When a noted roboticist goes missing, Aliya agrees to track him down and unwittingly embarks on an adventure that will lead her to the very edge of her world -- and to the ancient secret of Heaven's Vault.

The Heaven's Vault novels reimagine the game's storyline on one of its possible paths, adding additional characters, locations, and twists to surprise readers who played the game, while also spinning an engrossing sci-fi epic for those new to this universe and the forgotten language of the Ancients.
