14 March, 2006: JPM Interactive has announced today it has signed a two-year deal with OpenTV's PlayJam channel to deliver interactive TV gaming to 10 million Sky Digital, ntl: and Telewest Broadband viewers in the UK. JPM Interactive is a sister company of JPM International, a leading player in the amusement and gambling markets. The PlayJam channel is operated by a subsidiary of OpenTV, one of the world's leading interactive television companies.

Accessed through the PlayJam channel on Sky Digital, ntl: and Telewest Broadband's interactive services, JPM will initially offer three games - Hangman, Battleships and Sports Quiz - with additional titles to follow in the future. This follows a successful three-month pilot scheme that saw the games being played by 30,000 TV viewers every month.

The games are charged at £1 per play with the scores, players' progress and prizes being centrally managed by JPM's patent pending Gameology system. This advanced content delivery solution enables interactive services such as the PlayJam channel, to offer the same experience of pay-per-play gaming over interactive TV, mobile phones, the internet and private networks.

The Gameology platform can deliver several Skill With Prizes (SWP) games simultaneously through one centrally controlled system. This ensures that a player's progress throughout each game can be tracked while content and questions are adapted to each player's unique skill level.

"JPM Interactive offers a great mix of compelling content and game management tools that will help us attract many more new users to Sky Digital, ntl: and Telewest Broadband's interactive services," said Mickey Kalifa, Managing Director, PlayJam. "By running JPM's Gameology system, we can now increase player loyalty by tailoring the end user experience to the specific skill levels of the player."

"The deal with the PlayJam channel is a big step forward for JPM Interactive. We are building on a 30-year track record to enter an exciting new market," said Charles Walker, Managing Director, JPM Interactive. "We believe that our proven expertise in developing SWP games for pubs and clubs gives us a clear advantage in creating content for additional platforms such as interactive TV."
