Indie Arena Booth at gamescom 2022: Last Chance to Apply for a Booth in the World’s Largest Indie Game Showcase

 COLOGNE, Germany – May 9, 2022 – Indie Arena Booth (IAB), the world’s largest indie game showcase, will be back at gamescom 2022 as a hybrid event featuring a massive physical booth at Koelnmesse and an interactive virtual experience from August 24–28, 2022. Developers and publishers who wish to showcase titles this year can still apply for a booth until Tuesday, May 17, 2022.

Indie Arena Booth returns to Cologne in August after two years as a successful online event. This year, IAB will go hybrid with a 1,500 m2 booth on the show floor and an online, interactive browser game where people from all over the world can explore the curated indie gems in virtual booths. As usual, the showcase will be accompanied by a dedicated Steam sale, a Twitch stream, and an award show.

Developers can choose between big, small, and arcade booths, all featuring:


  • Both online AND in-person booths, guaranteeing games are shown to everyone, no matter where they join the Indie Arena Booth from
  • Platform sales event (e.g. Steam festival)
  • Backend account facilitating outreach to press and publishers
  • gamecom Exhibitor Ticket
  • Hardware
  • Access to exclusive booth events
  • Inclusion in gamescom events such as Opening Night Live, Awesome Indies, and gamescom studio (selection by editorial team)

Thanks to the IAB partner Intel, members of the Intel GameDev Program will receive a 50 % discount on either the Small Booth (Intel) or the Arcade Booth (Intel)!

The renowned and award-winning Indie Arena Booth has become synonymous with “best Indie titles of the world” and offers Indie devs from around the globe the opportunity to showcase their work to industry professionals and gamers in order to reach a wider audience and to create their own network.
