Bordeaux, France - 28 February 2006 - IN-FUSIO, the leader in mobile phone entertainment, today announced the signing of a license agreement with Editions Albert René. According to this agreement IN-FUSIO will launch a new mobile-phone game based on the upcoming 8th Asterix-animation-movie "Asterix and the Vikings" in April.

The Gaulish village is in danger once again. The Vikings have landed on the nearby beach and come with an ambitious plan: to learn about ultimate fear since they were told that "fear makes people fly". Of course, the knowledge of this secret could also be used as an advantage in their upcoming battles. They have identified Justforkix, the nephew of Vitalstatistix, to be the ideal example of a cowardly individual and decide to kidnap him. However, they have not counted on Asterix and Obelix who set about chasing the Vikings away in order to save Justforkix.

That's where the mobile gamers come into play. They control Asterix through 12 levels and 3 different landscapes on his quest to reach the land of the Vikings. On this voyage they have to master classic platform-passages, defeat numerous villains and pick up the various power-ups available along the way. Of course it's a question of honour that Asterix must find plenty of occasions to use the power derived from the famous magic potions...

Matthieu Saint Denis, Editorial Director of IN-FUSIO: "Asterix is a veritable myth: 24 million French spectators saw the last two films, 320 million comic strips were sold throughout the world. We are therefore delighted to participate in the launching of the film 'Asterix & the Vikings' by offering the second Asterix and Obelix mobile video game".

The mobile game "Asterix and the Vikings" will be available in April across a wide range of popular Java-enabled handsets and from operators all around Europe, as well as from the dedicated microsite www.asterixmobile.com and the IN-FUSIO website www.in-fusio.com.
