April 29th, 2022 – Continuing on delivering our promise to give more love to the classic games and shine some spotlight on them, here is Good Old Games Week! Within this special event, we put classic games front and center. Expect great deals and amazing releases that will be awesome additions further expanding our Good Old Games catalog. 
 

We wanted to give all the timeless classics on GOG a special place of their own, so together with this event, we’re also premiering a new space, devoted entirely to those memorable games to make our selection of titles easier to browse and discover.
 

Such an event would be incomplete without some great classic additions to the catalog. Today, we’re starting with premieres of Re-Volt, Deadly Dozen Reloaded, and a selection of titles from Throwback Entertainment. Re-Volt is an arcade racing game that lets you guide one of 28 remote control cars through insane tracks that take you to a backyard, a museum and even a supermarket. GOG’s version works with modern Windows versions and can be enhanced with the RVGL community mod. Deadly Dozen Reloaded is a complete remake of the original tactical shooter from 2001. Made in a new engine with upgraded maps, graphics and missions, Reloaded takes this classic franchise and brings it to modern audiences with a bang. 
 

Titles from Throwback Entertainment include: Legend of the Sword, a fantasy adventure game that sets you on a quest to retrieve magical items and defeat an evil sorcerer, Tunnel B1, a sci-fi action game where you gauge a hovercraft through deadly tunnels, and Bombuzal, a puzzle game that will require wit and strategic thinking to blast through hundreds of levels full of bombs ready to explode.
