TUESDAY OCTOBER 12TH - Blaze Entertainment is delighted to showcase the newest updates to the Evercade VS retro gaming console!
The new, bespoke user interface and operating system bring a whole host of new updates to the Evercade experience, with much-requested features from fans and our own improvements to the existing Evercade software.
To announce this, Evercade released a new YouTube video showing the full system and all of its features, which you can see below:
Pixel Perfect, Online Updates, and more features out of the box
Alongside this video, a blog was also released with full details of the new features that will be available for the Evercade VS, directly out of the box. These include:
Improved Save Game Function with screenshots and the ability to delete save games.
A new Quick Save function and a "Load Last Save" button to boot you directly to your last save game from the UI.
New Display Modes, including Pixel Perfect aspect ratio, background bezels and scanline filters - changeable on the fly
Detailed Game Information, including an introduction to the game and full control schemes on screen.
Online Updates, additional controller mapping, themes and background music are also included!

Shipping Update
Last Friday, Evercade provided an update to customers on the release date of the Evercade VS. Unfortunately, due to the current global issues with shipping, we had to announce delays to the release date of the console and the upcoming cartridges 21,22 and Arcade 1-4 (which are shipping to distributors together with the console stock). The UK and Europe will now move to a window between December 8th and 17th, 2021. This includes the Founder Edition exclusive that will ship worldwide from Funstock, based in the UK.
For US and Canada, the shipping issue is a bit more severe and means the release date has been pushed back to January 14th, 2022.
You can read further information about this in the letter below from Managing Director, Andrew Byatt. This also clarifies that stock has been produced and is ready to be shipped, or already in transit to distributors.
With this announcement, Evercade also unveiled new information about upcoming exclusive hardware, cartridges and merchandise. More information on these will be available soon.
Pre-Orders for the Evercade VS and all upcoming cartridges are still available worldwide. A full list of retailers can be found at evercade.co.uk/retailers.
Early review samples of the Evercade VS are due to be shipped shortly and further review samples will be available later in the year following stock delivery. Please reply to this email to register your interest.
