STOCKHOLM - Nov 11, 2021 - Paradox Interactive, a publisher and developer of games that are scientifically proven to haunt your gaming setup, has announced that the Necroids Species Pack is available now for Stellaris: Console Edition on Xbox and Playstation consoles for $7.99 / £5.79 / €7.99 MSRP. This expansion marks the final chapter of Stellaris: Console Edition’s fourth expansion pass, which also includes the Ancient Relics Story Pack and the Federations full expansion.

Stellaris’ best selling expansion pack of all time on PC, the Necroids Species Pack, grants Stellaris: Console Edition gamers their dying wishes with a bevvy of gameplay additions and cosmetics. The spooky Necrophage origin will zombify playthroughs for experienced players, reviving campaigns in a ghastly original way. A behemoth of fresh cosmetics including ship sets, voice overs, portraits and other creepy cosmetics will allow newer fans to partake in their most carnal desires.

In all, the Necroids Species Pack includes: 

  • 1 New Origin - Necrophage
    • The brand new Necrophage Origin positions gamer-martyrs as a powerful primary species which consumes others within its grasp, blurring the line between cult and empire with three brand new civics:    
      • Death Cult: Enables powerful edicts which require the sacrificing of pops
      • Reanimated Armies: Allows the deployment of morality-immune, undead armies
      • Memorialists: Erects monuments to the galaxy’s past, improving planetary stability and honouring tomb worlds
  • 16 new portraits (15 organic, 1 robotic)
