The Sudden Breach content update not only reinvents and revitalizes the way both new and veteran players alike interface, expand and inevitably charge headlong into combat. A comprehensive procession of events, competitive feature updates, and QOL improvements kick the celebration up to eleven!


CROSSFIRE: Warzone’s Sudden Breach is a game feature depicting the journey to track down and fight “Breaker,” the enemy commander who incessantly directs a venerable army of plague-ridden shock troop attacks from very early on in the game.


The new feature overhauls the previous early game “grind” with an all-new, combat-fueled showcase, consisting of 7 Chapters and 70 Battles (Including 4 tutorial stages). In addition, exclusive Officer introductions, interactions, roles (Specialties), Skills and Stats will be utilized, making Sudden Breach all the more immersive.


After the senses are tantalized with a wicked cut scene…  A brand-new, Officer Reyes walks onto the battlefield:


The leader of a Mercenary group that specializes in hunting down Nano Infectants since the onset of the apocalypse, Reyes can be obtained through Sudden Breach.


There’s substantial bite with this bark, unlocking Buildings and pertinent game content through Sudden Breach encourages better HQ and general unit repair and stabilization opportunities as players proceed through Sudden Breach Chapters in early game progression. Entering the exciting opening, Sudden Breach engagement prompts players to assign one Officer as the Leader of a crack-commando quartet. And once assigned, the Leader can use their designated Skill against the approaching enemy offensive without consuming any Skill Points. The other Officers will require acquired Skill Points to use their Skills. Skill Points are earned by successfully defeating enemies.


With open access to all available in-game Officers, up to 4 Officers can be selected, all with their own dedicated roles (think hero classes), weapons and Specialties; empowering players to draw upon a copious cornucopia of customizable strategy options.


Along with the addition of Sudden Breach, some significant changes to early game progress have been applied. These changes are made to minimize any potential uncertainty for new players, enabling those new to CROSSFIRE: Warzone to enjoy the game without any undue confusion.


Adding to an already massive content update, some essential system improvements and QOL updates have been applied.


A Guidebook has been added so that players can easily read and access or review various game-centric details at a glance. As well as a myriad of HUD, UI, streamlining notification features and troop info display, this update is just chock-full of great stuff… unfortunately, too much to unpack here.


With huge, generous Sudden Breach Missions specifically designed to encourage players to not only ready-up and charge into this update with reckless abandon, the rewards are stellar.
