Team Machiavelli is pleased to announce its selection to the prestigious Pax Rising Showcase 2023 at the upcoming PAX East event.
 
The PAX East event is the largest consumer-facing gaming event in North America. It will be held in Boston, MA from March 23-26, 2023.Team Machiavelli will join a select group of independent developers in the Pax Rising Showcase, which celebrates innovative, creative and groundbreaking games from the independent gaming community.
 
As part of the Pax Rising Showcase, Castle of Alchemists will have a dedicated booth on the PAX East show floor, where attendees can meet the team and get their hands on the game.

What is the Castle of Alchemists?
Castle of Alchemists is a Top Down Shooter/Tower Defense hybrid with RPG elements, being developed by Team Machiavelli.
 
Build Traps and Choose Your Own Fighting Style
Construct defensive towers to house semi-automatic ballistas, revolving cannons, and steam-powered mounted gatling guns. Arm your defense with traps like spikes, flame pillars, acid showers, and rotating-dart throwers to hinder and eradicate opponents.
 
Wide Range of Enemies
As the defender of the castle, you will be met with a wide range of foes from various elemental realms. Confront the fiery assailants from the fire realm in the forge, combat the golems from the Earth realm in the mines, and struggle through the halls overwhelmed by creatures from the ice realm. Each enemy presents its own one-of-a-kind aptitudes, defenses and vulnerabilities, requiring you to adjust your strategy as you make your way through the fortress.
 
Improve Your Character
As Bellator, the alchemically enhanced super soldier, you will face a multitude of obstacles as you level up and arm yourself with a huge selection of weapons and powerful armors. As you progress through the game, you will discover and unlock new schematics for crafting even more powerful equipment with randomly generated abilities that will make your gameplay experience even more captivating.
