Wrocław, 09.05.2022 - Whitemoon Games, after introducing guilds, releases another update from their roadmap, which includes a boss instance, first part of a quest that introduces to a location and a number of fixes and upgrades. The update will be available on May 9th in the evening hours (CEST).


“It’s the first boss since the game launched, that we release into our players’ hands. We want the gameplay for characters on different levels to be even more exciting and engaging. And it’s just the tip of what we’re planning. We’re intending to add a couple more boss locations this year.” - Says studio’s founder, Krzysztof Danielewicz.


The instance is dedicated to level 40 characters and it comes with four legendary items that players will have a chance to obtain by defeating the main boss - Castle Specter. All of this is preceded by a quest aimed at introducing the dark atmosphere of the location and familiarizing players with its history. Due to large story potential, the quest will be extensive and its continuation can be expected in June.


“Aside from the instance and the quest, we’re introducing a multitude of fixes and improvements suggested by our players. Among others, we improved the drops system, made it possible to increase deposits where players can store their items and also we’re adding lots of minor changes.” - Adds Danielewicz.

Broken Ranks is a successor of The Pride of Taern, a MMORPG with a unique turn-based combat and a grimm, low-fantasy world presented in an isometric view. The game evokes classics such as HoM&M series and Baldur’s Gate. Adventurers are awaited by a surplus of quests with a rich story and a vast, interesting world ready to be explored solo, or in groups centered around guilds system.
