The biggest World of Tanks Blitz regional tournament - Blitz Europe Cup powered by AppGallery - takes place on 25 and 26 November, offering fans all the action and excitement they’ve come to expect during the previous three events! The winners will be rewarded with a share of the $50,000 regional prize-pool, with the first-place team taking home a whopping $25,000.
"This is now the second year running that we have held the Blitz Cup championship online. We aimed at making it not just a tournament, but a dazzling spectacle with something to offer both competitive eSports players and casual viewers alike. The former will get a chance to show off their skills and win a title and a cash prize, while the latter will see the show of a lifetime and get a chance to win in-game prizes such as useful resources, camouflage, and premium tanks!”, - says Natalia Pershyts, Publishing Product Director, World of Tanks Blitz.
Four of the regions strongest teams will fight for the championship title and cash prize:
[LOCA] Fantastic— This team was assembled on the eve of the Spring 2021 season, which it immediately proceeded to win. In addition, they also put on a fine performance in the Summer Season this year. The team includes players from Great Britain, Finland, France, Poland, Belarus, Russia and the Netherlands.
[-BPS-] Gravitas— Gravitas’s roster includes members of other esports teams such as LGN, R-2-K, and AQVA. It was formed in the spring of this year and went on to win second place in the Professional Tournament of the Spring Season. With some line-up changes and a temporary name change to BPS, the team added first place in the Summer Season Championship to their list of achievements.
[EG-] Hey lol— This team represents one of the oldest and most experienced clans in the region. Their achievements include participation in the Blitz Twister Cup 2019, victories in the Summer Season 2020, Winter Season 2021 and, of course, last year's Blitz Europe Cup!
[JON3S] Los JON3S— This young team includes players from Spain, Czechia, Italy, Slovakia, Russia and France. Despite being relatively new, they’ve consistently performed well, having won third place in the 2021 Summer Season.
The winners of the Blitz Europe Cup will receive the following prizes:
1st place: $25,000, 10,000,000 credits, 24,000 gold, 200,000 Free XP, and a unique clan logo
2nd place: $15,000, 8,000,000 credits, 18,000 gold, 170,000 Free XP, and a unique clan logo
3rd place: $7,000, 7,000,000 credits, 14,000 gold, 130,000 Free XP, and a unique clan logo
4th place: $3,000, 6,000,000 credits, 12,000 gold, 100,000 Free XP
Spectators too, can expect to win prizes for participating in the event! Watch the Blitz Cup 2021 battle streams, cheer on your favorite teams and get rewards for your views! These include warpaints, avatars, premium accounts, and other cool items. But most importantly, watching the championship broadcast can win you the powerful Action X, Centurion Mk. 5/1 or Progetto 46! Three out of four Blitz Cup 2021 championships have already found their champions. [-ID-] TEAM ID took first place in the Blitz APAC Cup, [7STAR] 7STAR took home the victory in the Blitz CIS Cup, and [JKR] Jokers, came out on top in the Blitz North America Cup!
