2 August 2022- After a successful launch on Steam, Tower Tag, the paintball-inspired, PvP action extravaganza, is now available on the Oculus Quest through the AppLab and Sidequest stores.
Launching for the first time on Meta’s headsets, this arena-based battler pits players against one another in an all-action fight to the death. Using an intuitive grappling-hook locomotion system, Tower Tag promises no motion sickness as players can flit in and out of combat in a PvP experience like nothing other.
Players choose between one of three modes (Team Deathmatch, Elimination and Goal Tower) across ten different maps as they battle against teams of up to four other combatants in this Tron-style futuristic world.
VR Nerds are incredibly proud to be launching on the Quest, after a successful launch within the VR arcade space. Head of Project Management Chrisoph Spinger said: "The Meta Quest is a great platform and we are happy to now bring our game to a wider audience. Still, the journey from arcades with powerful PCs to the Meta Quest required us to redevelop and rethink many things. But now we are on the home stretch and we are already looking forward to the feedback from the first players."
Ideal for fans of Population: One and Contactors, Tower Tag’s Quest debut is the perfect time for newcomers to party up and tag some towers!
