The solo developer of the upcoming roguelike deckbuilding game Unders_core released a free demo on Steam.
The demo got covered by a popular youtuber Retromation, praising its original mechanics and overall improvements of the Slay the Spire formula. During the initial video Retromation finished the first chapter available in the demo.
In Unders_core, every run is a chance to try something new. You get a chance to build two separate decks, each boosting the character in some way. The battle deck allows one to fight during enemy encounters, while the exploration deck defines what events and discoveries can happen during the run.

  • Build incredible synergies – Both exploration and battle deck allow you to make powerful combos
  • Face a cold sci-fi world – You play as an AI copy of a veteran pilot. Discover the truth behind the anomaly and find the reason for your creation.
  • Plan ahead – Unlike most card games, you can see all upcoming cards, allowing you to plan many turns ahead
  • Shape your path – You have direct influence on what events happen in every chapter through customization of your exploration deck
