LOS ANGELES – MAY 19, 2022 – iam8bit is excited to partner with Draknek & Friends with a special Nintendo Switch collection: A Monster's Expedition + Earlier Adventures. This is the first time these four games have been available in a physical release, giving players a chance to experience these magical games in a single Switch cartridge. Players who want to enjoy the soundtracks without taxing their brains can do so in an accompanying 2xLP soundtrack.
 
Draknek & Friends have been building a reputation for creating challenging and rewarding puzzle games since 2013's acclaimed Sokobond. Each of their games takes a unique setup -- molecular bonds, exploration, monsters rolling snowmen -- and uses that foundation to create surprising and memorable experiences. A Monster's Expedition + Earlier Adventures includes four favorites: A Monster's Expedition, Sokobond, Cosmic Express, and A Good Snowman is Hard to Build. 
 
The iam8bit exclusive edition ($44.99) of A Monster's Expedition + Earlier Adventures is available for pre-order now on iam8bit.com and will be shipping in July 2022. It includes the four games, reversible cover art, and a long-requested map of A Monster's Expedition's world. A Monster's Expedition + Earlier Adventures will also be available in a standard retail edition ($39.99) in July 2022.
 
The 2xLP vinyl soundtrack ($39.99) features music from all four games tucked into a whimsical sleeve that combines elements from each game in the collection. It's available for pre-order now from iam8bit.com and will be shipping in Q1 2023. Listeners can check out the soundtrack in a special "Lofi Monster Beats To Chill/Puzzle To" YouTube video.

A Good Snowman is Hard to Build is a puzzle game about helping a monster roll snowballs around to build a snowman. Snowmen are built from stacks of snowballs arranged in decreasing size, which poses a challenge considering the size and arrangement of each room.
