Microsoft representatives have revealed details of a slightly bizarre new marketing scheme entitled Operation: Live Connections. In the first of many such planned events families of US soldiers working overseas were invited to the offices of the USO troop morale origination to communicate with and play against loved ones abroad.
Only a partial list of the games involved where given though, leaving open the possibility of highly realistic military simulations such as
Ghost Recon and
Full Spectrum Warrior (a version of which was created specifically for the US military) being used to unite the various family members.
