Authorities in Deltona, Fla., have arrested and charged four people for the killing of six others due to an apparent disagreement over a stolen Xbox.
The murders were allegedly organized by Troy Victorino, 27, who became angry when he believed his Xbox console and some clothes had been stolen. Although Victorino has not yet confessed, his three 18-year-old accomplices have. All have been charged with first degree murder and armed burglary.
The four killers, armed with aluminum baseball bats, allegedly forced their way into the rental home where the victims were asleep in the early hours of Friday morning, and beat them to death.
The case is likely to draw parallels to the recent murder in the UK of a 14-year-old boy, where the tabloid press claimed that the murderer was influenced in his actions by the game Manhunt
