Part of the agreement includes Xbox's title sponsorship of the Vans Triple Crown Series, which features top athletes competing in skateboarding, wakeboarding, surfing, snowboarding, BMX, and freestyle motocross. Under the agreement, events in the Vans Triple Crown will be renamed Xbox Pro of Freestyle Motocross (Aug. 10-11 in Las Vegas), Xbox World Championships of Skateboarding (Oct. 5-7 in Oceanside, Calif.), and the Xbox Pipeline Masters of Surfing (Dec. 8-21 at North Shore, Hawaii), all scheduled to be broadcast at later dates on NBC.
