Officials from Microsoft have announced that country music network CMT, MTV's lesbian, gay and bi-sexual focused network Logo, and top anime distributors have been added to its Xbox Live Video Marketplace, as well as a number of recent hit films.

Officials from Microsoft have announced that country music network CMT, MTV's lesbian, gay and bi-sexual focused network Logo, and top anime distributors have been added to its Xbox Live Video Marketplace, as well as a number of recent hit films. June 6th will see the start of Country Music Television's additions to the Video Marketplace. The service will see entire first seasons of CMT shows including Comedy Stage, Foxworthy's Big Night Out and Prankville, with more series coming throughout the summer. On June 11th the Marketplace will begin to receive a wide variety of content from Logo, MTV's lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender network, including the comedies Wisecrack and The Big Gay Sketch Show, dramas such as Noah's Arc, as well as various other programs including Curl Girls and Real Momentum Documentaries. June 12th will also see the addition of two new anime distributors to join ADV Films, currently serving the Marketplace, FUNimation, and Geneon Entertainment. FUNimation will be adding epic adventure anime series Samurai 7, based on the Akira Kurosawa film of the same name, as well as Trinity Blood, Gunslinger Girl and Basilisk. Geneon Entertainment will be serving the U.S. HD debut of anime classic Akira, coming exclusively to the Marketplace, as well as Gun Sword, Last Exile, Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo and Lupin the 3rd. Finally, this month will also see the addition of a number of acclaimed films from recent months, including Team America World Police, Dreamgirls, Letters from Iwo Jima, Shooter, Black Snake Moan, and Pan's Labyrinth.
