With Microsoft's latest regular Wednesday Xbox Live Arcade update, the service has seen cult favorite Jeff Minter's psychedelic shooter
Space Giraffe added to the roster, along with Gaia Industries hoverboard racer
Street Trace: NYC.
As
previously featured, Llamasoft's shooter, reminiscent of arcade classic
Tempest, features what Microsoft calls "mesmerizing graphics and 100 levels of out-of-this-world gameplay," along with a hidden gameplay mode once all levels are complete.
Microsoft describe's Gaia's
Street Trace: NYC as an "all-in-one hoverboard racing and arena battle game" and includes Xbox Live multiplayer for up to eight players and local play for up to four players in split screen mode. an up to a four-way split-screen. The game features four arena games, three street games and tournaments for cash to purchase board and weapon upgrades between games.
The two games are now available on Xbox Live Arcade, at price points of 400 points ($5) for
Space Giraffe, and 800 points ($10) for
Street Trace: NYC.
