Following comments made by Microsoft VP Peter Moore reinforcing the company's support for Xbox 360 backwards compatibility, staffer Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb has revealed a new list of Xbox 360-compatible Xbox games activated today. In total, 21 original Xbox titles were added to the list of backwards compatible titles, bringing the list to 227 games. Of these, notable additions included Activision's Doom 3, LucasArts' Star Wars Battlefront and Eidos' Lego Star Wars. Other additions included 4X4 Evolution 2, Amped 2, Bad Boys 2, Big Mutha Truckers, and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. Further additions included Fatal Frame, FlatOut, Grabbed by the Ghoulies, Intellivision Lives, Magatama, Minority Report, and MLB Slugfest 2004. Finally, the remaining titles added in this latest update include Punisher, Rallisport Challenge, Silent Hill 4: The Room, Spawn: Armageddon, Spider-Man, State of Emergency, and Zapper. Additionally, the update also included a handful of Japanese-only titles such as Bistro Cupid 1, Flight Academy, Othello Seminar, Igo Seminar, Shogi Seminar, and Mahjong Seminar. While the update is available over Xbox Live, Microsoft has also released it for download over Xbox.com for those users who do not have access to the online service.
