Voice communication services provider Vivox has announced that it has been recognized for leadership in emerging technology and global business potential by technology group AlwaysOn as part of the group's AO 100 Top Private Companies awards.
The AO 100 list is in its fifth year, and is compiled by an AlwaysOn editorial panel along with representatives from KPMG, Bridge Bank, Merrill Corp., Level 3 Communications, and Manatt, Phelps & Phillips. The list is meant to to "identify the most promising entrepreneurial opportunities and investments in the global technology industry."
Vivox will be given the Top Private Company award at the July 31st-Aug 2nd AlwaysOn Stanford Summit at Stanford University, an executive gathering that "highlights the significant economic, political and commercial trends affecting the global technology industries."
The company
recently announced an agreement with MMO development studio Monumental Games to include the Vivox Precision Studio in Monumental's MMO middleware software development solution. In February, it also
announced a partnership with Linden Lab to supply voice communication services for Linden Lab's massively multiplayer virtual world community
Second Life.
