According to various Internet reports Vivendi Universal Games has laid off as many as seventy employees in the last few days, as a response to the €58 million ($70.5m) loss reported earlier this month.
The losses are not reported to be specific to any one department and are presumably part of the cost-cutting measures the company promised to implement, in order to see a return to profitability next year.
