Serious games company Virtual Heroes, which specializes in creating learning solutions for federal systems, announced that the company was named a 2006 Military Training Technology (MT2) Top 100 company for the second consecutive year.
The MT2 Top 100, from Kerrigan Media International and Military Training Technology, is a listing of companies that have made a significant impact in the military training industry this fiscal year—whether in live, virtual or constructive simulation, training or education. The top 100 companies are chosen from more than 600 candidates based on various criteria, including total military sales, end-user feedback, innovations and need for the solution.
According to MT2 officials, Virtual Heroes was chosen for the list for its significant achievement and competency in the areas of instructional design, digital engineering, project management, modeling and simulation, courseware development and assessment in providing unprecedented immersive training experiences. Virtual Heroes Was also recognized for its efforts with regards to a HumanSim dual-use medical training product platform for military personnel and civilian first responders.
